After a nearly two-month delay, the Council and the public finally have a proposed budget from Mayor Muriel Bowser on May 27.
At the town hall, Councilmember Charles Allen will lead a discussion on what’s been proposed, priorities he’s advocated for, and what’s important to you.
Expect to hear talk about funding for critical areas like social services, public safety, schools, housing, parks and rec, transportation, street safety, the environment, and capital projects.
