Metropolitan Police Department say they have arrested a suspect in an October shooting incident on H Street.
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, police came to the intersection of H Street and Seventh Street NE, after getting reports of gunshots. When they got there, officers discovered evidence of gunfire, but no victims were found.
On Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, officers arrested a 31-year-old man of no fixed address, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant for Endangerment with a Firearm.
Police Seek Suspect in Pennsylvania Avenue Robbery
Police are looking for help finding a suspect that robbed a business on the Pennsylvania Avenue Corridor Saturday.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, at around 5:39 p.m., a suspect entered a business and approached an employee in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. He pointed a handgun at the employee and took property from the store before running away. Metropolitan Police Department says the suspect was captured by nearby surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below.
Anyone who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your anonymous photos, video or tips to the Department’s Text Tip Line at 50411. MPD currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
