Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Fifth District are looking for help to identify and find three suspects and a vehicle after a business was burglarized on the 3600 Block of 12th Street NE on Tuesday, Feb. 20th.
At around 4:14 a.m., a vehicle backed through the front door of the business. Three suspects got out of the vehicle and tried to take an ATM machine. The suspects fled the scene, in the vehicle, without obtaining anything.
The suspects and vehicle were captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below and in the video above.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s Text Tip Line by sending a text message to 50411.

At 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, a man was arrested on the 600 block of 11th Street NE on charges of Possession of a Bb Gun.
At 11:45 a.m. Wednesday a car was stolen on the 1500 block of South Capitol Street.
At 12:59 p.m. Wednesday, a man was arrested on the 1600 block of Constitution Ave NE on charges of Possession of Uned Ammunition.
Reporting Illegal Activity
Prompt and detailed reporting of suspicious activities helps prevent crime. If a citizen sees suspicious activity, or any activity that seems out of the ordinary, immediately call 911.
When reporting suspicious activity, give an accurate description. Here are some things to include:
- Brief description of the activity;
- Date, time and location of the activity;
- Physical identifiers of anyone you observed;
- Descriptions of vehicles;
- Information about where people involved in suspicious activities may have gone;
- Your name and information.
